The Southern African masters programme in mathematical modelling at the University of Dar es Salaam is a successor of a similar programme hosted by the University of Zimbabwe (1996 – 2007) funded by the Norwegian government through NORAD’s programme for Master Studies (NOMA). This is a multilateral programme involving Uganda, Malawi, Mozambique, Zambia and Tanzania, and has been running since 2008.
